Auto Repond for Fundraising

Hi !

We are so pumped that you have chosen to join us on this adventure that is the Team FaithQuest So Cal Ragnar Relay! We are less than 8 weeks out and it’s time to set up and send out your fundraising page to all your friends, family, neighbors, co-workers, anyone willing to read it=) We can’t raise the funds to help slay the hunger dragons in Malawi, without every runner’s help. The money you raise today, can be wired immediately and food can be purchased for the hungry the following day! We truly appreciate your willingness to step up to the plate and help out.

This year we are trying out a new fundraising website, GroupRev. We have provided the following to help you get started:

  • Step by step instructions to set up your page (Click Here)
  • Template text for your fundraising page (Click Here)
  • Fundraising Tips for Ragnar 2014 (Click Here)
  • “How To” video here.

In addition to your fundraising page, you will be having conversations with friends, family, co-workers, etc. We want to help you feel comfortable and well equipped to give your “Elevator Pitch” when these moments arise. Here is an Elevator Pitch example for you to use:

I am running a 200 mile relay race in April to feed thousands that are starving in Malawi and support an organization I believe in, FaithQuest Missions. The funds I raise today can literally be used to feed the starving tomorrow. Will you join me in supporting this incredible cause by sponsoring me today?

We will be reaching out to Van Captains soon! In the meantime, please feel free to call or e-mail with any questions at all. Also, we will be adding some fun names to the end of each Team Faithquest team, instead of colors this year (Team FaithQuest- The Twisted Blisters, etc). If you have any fun ideas, send them over!

Gotta Run (get it?),

I am a special breed. I am one known as a Ragnarian. We travel great distances by foot with minimal sleep. We live off bananas, trail mix and the sweat off our brow. We’re kinda crazy, smelly, spontaneous creatures…but we are changing the world.
